Dennis G. Dougherty Joins CODA Holdings as Senior Vice President of Operations

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 12, 2012 –CODA Holdings, a leading developer of all-electric vehicles and advanced battery systems, today announced automotive veteran Dennis G. Dougherty as its senior vice president of operations.

“Dennis is a great addition to our CODA executive team,” said Phil Murtaugh, CEO, CODA Holdings. “As our senior vice president of operations, Dennis will bring key insights from his four decades of automotive experience to help us bring the CODA 2012 sedan and other future clean energy solutions to market.”

Dennis worked with General Motors for 39 years where he held a variety of management and executive roles, from executive director of manufacturing for GM China, to vice president of manufacturing for Saturn Corporation, to complex director for General Motors de Mexico. During his tenure, Dennis oversaw product launches and Greenfield site startups. Prior to joining CODA, he advised on competitive manufacturing for prominent Fortune 500 companies as a global manufacturing consultant. Dennis holds a master in business administration from the University of Delaware and a bachelor in mechanical engineering from Kettering University in Flint, Mich.
